Art History and Appreciation 2
Medievil Period to 19th Century

This course is a continuation of Art Appreciation I, and it will examine art from the Early Middle Ages to the 19th century. Topics include the stylistic periods of the Medieval period, Renaissance in Italy, Northern Renaissance and the Dutch Golden Age, Northern and Southern Baroque, Neo-Classicism, Romanticism and Realism. We will focus on important individual artists who typify, or helped initiate, these major period styles.
